Earth LinC

Effective August 24, 2026
This policy explains what you are buying, how you are asked before anything is charged, and when money or balance comes back. It forms part of the Terms of Service.
Work on Earth LinC — composing a Station, editing one, drawing an illustration — is paid for with credits, shown as ◆. Credits are a prepaid balance on your account, not a currency, not a deposit, and not a security or investment. They have no value outside Earth LinC, cannot be transferred to another account, and cannot be exchanged for cash except as described in section 6.
You can obtain credits by:
Current prices for plans, top-ups, and packs are shown on the Earth LinC site at the point of purchase, in your local currency where supported. Prices exclude tax unless stated; any VAT, GST, or sales tax due is added at checkout.
Three rules govern every charge. They are deliberate, and an assistant acting on your behalf cannot waive any of them.
Before work begins you are shown a specific number. That number is what leaves your balance — not an estimate, not a starting point. You can ask what something would cost without committing to it; asking a price is always free and never touches your balance.
Every plan has a per-request ceiling. A request priced above it does not run. It comes back with the figure, and it only proceeds once you have agreed to that number.
| Plan | Per-request ceiling |
|---|---|
| Free · Starter · Pro | ◆200 |
| Pro Max | ◆500 |
| Studio | ◆1,000 |
A single composition costs at least ◆40. Illustrations are priced per image — ◆30 for standard, ◆40 for fine — with a limit of 12 standard or 4 fine images in one composition.
If being asked each time is tiresome, you can set a standing spending limit: a figure you agree to in advance, below which composition proceeds without a separate question. That setting can only be made by you, signed in on the Earth LinC website. A connected AI client cannot set it, cannot raise it, and cannot agree to it for you; neither can an API key.
However high you set your standing limit, a request priced above your plan's ceiling is still stopped and still asked about by name. The standing limit means “spending of this size I have already agreed to.” The ceiling means “past this point, say the number out loud.” One does not override the other.
Editing an existing Station is charged on actual usage rather than a fixed price, because the cost depends on how much of the page the change touches. When an edit starts, an amount is reserved from your balance as a cap. When it finishes, the unused part is returned and you are told what was actually spent. If the estimate for an edit exceeds your plan's ceiling, you are asked first, exactly as in section 2.
If a composition, edit, or illustration fails and produces nothing, the credits are returned to your balance in full, automatically. You do not need to ask.
This covers technical failure — not dissatisfaction. Work that completes and delivers a Station has been performed, even if the result is not what you hoped for. Because output varies, we recommend pricing a request first, starting small, and refining from there. If something completes but is clearly broken, write to us and we will look at it.
You can cancel at any time from your account, or by writing to support@earthlinc.earth.
| Situation | Outcome |
|---|---|
| Work failed and produced nothing | Credits returned in full, automatically |
| Edit finished under its reserved cap | Unused portion returned automatically |
| Top-up or pack, entirely unused, within 14 days | Refunded to the original payment method on request |
| Credits already spent on delivered work | Not refundable |
| Subscription, current period already begun | Not refundable; cancellation applies from the next period |
| Duplicate or clearly erroneous charge | Refunded in full |
| We terminate your account other than for a breach by you | Unused paid balance refunded |
| Anything minted on-chain | Not reversible — see the Digital Asset / NaviStar Terms |
To request a refund, write to support@earthlinc.earth with the account email and the charge. We respond within 5 business days, and approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 10 business days.
If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase. Because credits are digital content supplied immediately, that right is lost for any credits you have already spent — by starting work you ask for immediate performance and acknowledge that. Your unspent balance remains refundable within the 14 days. Nothing in this policy limits your other statutory rights.
When a payment is refunded or reversed — including by a bank chargeback — the credits that payment granted are removed from your account. If they have already been spent, the balance may go negative and must be settled before further paid work can run.
If you believe a charge is wrong, please write to us before opening a dispute with your bank. We can usually resolve it faster, and a chargeback may result in suspension of the account while it is investigated.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and never reach Earth LinC's systems — we see only the outcome of the payment and the information needed to operate your account. Stripe's own terms and privacy notice apply to their handling of your payment data. See the Privacy Policy for what we hold.
We may change prices and the credit cost of operations. Changes are announced in advance and never apply retroactively to work already quoted or performed. For subscriptions, a price change takes effect from your next billing period and you will be told before that period begins, so you can cancel if you disagree.
