Feedback isn’t a verdict. It’s how the system moves.
反馈不是评判, 是系统在往前走。
Under every fast re-organizing team two loops are already running: one that amplifies whatever is happening, one that pulls it back toward a goal. Most of our arguing is just not knowing which one is speaking.
Candour invites candour; trust compounds into speed. The same engine runs the other way just as well: one voice not heard becomes silence, silence becomes guessing, guessing becomes rework.
A reinforcing loop never chooses a direction. It only makes the current one louder.
A gap between where we are and where we said we’d be pulls action toward it, and the gap shrinks. This is why nothing runs away forever.
It is also why a good correction can feel like resistance when you are the one being corrected.
现状与我们说好的之间有个差距,差距牵引行动,行动缩小差距。所以没有什么会永远失控。
也所以,当被纠偏的是自己时,一次好的修正常常像是阻力。
The delay
延迟
Most of the fighting happens inside the lag.
大多数争吵,都发生在延迟里。
The conflict is rarely about the signal. It is about the time between a change and the evidence of that change. Act, wait, over-correct, wait, over-correct back — a team that cannot feel its own delay will oscillate, and then call it politics.
Every extra channel is one more loop somebody now has to close. Connection has a cost — spend it where signal actually travels, not where it only echoes.
A comment lands on a person. Feedback lands on a loop. Ask what changed, on what delay, in which direction — and only then speak.
先深听,再开口
评论落在人身上,反馈落在回路上。先问:什么变了?延迟多久?往哪个方向?然后再说。
Low internal burn
Energy spent proving is energy not spent moving. If a loop only feeds our own standing inside the room, it is a reinforcing loop with nothing outside it.
