周波，60年代生於廣東信宜，中國美術家協會會員；現為廣東省人民政府文史研究館藝術創作中心特約研究員，中國畫創作研究院院聘畫家，深圳市時代書畫院副院長。
Zhou Bo, born in the 1960s in Xinyi, Guangdong, is a member of the China Artists Association; he is a Specially Invited Researcher at the Art Creation Centre of the Guangdong Provincial Research Institute of Culture and History, a painter of the Chinese Painting Creation Research Institute, and Vice-President of the Shenzhen Shidai Academy of Calligraphy and Painting.
2004年，周波剛滿四十歲，在深圳打拼了十六年的他，雖沒出人頭地，但生活還是過得去。就在這一年，他至不惑，他鬼使神差地毅然辭去了某集團公司廣告部經理之職，再次拿起畫筆去追逐他心底真心摯愛的繪畫藝術之夢。
In 2004 Zhou Bo had just turned forty. After sixteen years of striving in Shenzhen he had not made his name, but life was comfortable enough. That year, as if driven by fate, he resigned as advertising manager of a group company and picked up the brush again to pursue the art he truly loved.
十五年來，周波以忘我的熱情投入寫生，不知疲倦地奔波於自然山水和人文景觀之間，曾經被生活磨礪過的他，踏實堅韌，不投機取巧，深知提高自己畫技和境界的唯一途徑是以自然山水為師。
For fifteen years Zhou Bo has thrown himself into painting from life, tirelessly travelling between natural landscapes and cultural sites. Tempered by life, he is steady and tenacious, never takes shortcuts, and knows that the only way to raise his skill and his vision is to take nature itself as his teacher.
