The question we carried from that first coffee

It started simply — a face-to-face conversation over coffee, where I asked you what you found cool, and how you were thinking about connecting people on the ground. You didn't perform an answer. You thought out loud, honestly. We exchanged ideas and left feeling that something was genuinely alive between us. That first hour set the tone for everything that followed.

You led and completed two high-level interviews — with a Founder/CEO and an international designer — not as a student gathering facts, but as someone genuinely listening. You brought deep curiosity, open thinking, and the discipline to return to what's basic, what's true, what creates real value. The AI frontier team noticed. So did I.

When you joined the Earth LinC team to create stations, you weren't just using a tool — you were practising a new kind of recording: capturing the great, promoting what's genuine, making real moments visible. Your station "What Makes a Thing Real" became part of something larger than a summer project. It became a reference.

Our closing talk in my office left the strongest impression. When you find something interesting, you don't stop there — you keep going, keep sharing, keep exploring. That quality is rare. A summer programme ends on a date, but a mindset like yours doesn't have an expiry. I look forward to seeing where it takes you next.
