Cicada Weather 夏日蝉语
Late August.
Chushu almost here, not quite.
The heat is not dramatic anymore.
Just present.
Winter melon.
A little barley.
Dried scallop if you have one.
Low flame.
Lid on.
Somewhere else to be.
The cicadas were still going when I lifted the lid.
Still going after.
处暑前两天。
蝉还在。
冬瓜切了厚片，薏米泡着，干贝一颗。
盖上盖子。
院子里有风，也可能没有。
喝完也没觉得凉快多少。
蝉还在。
