The one asymmetry
Nature keeps its useless parts for free. A gene needs nobody's permission — it just gets copied. A thought doesn't copy itself. It isn't refuted or rejected; it just goes, because nobody wrote it down.
And there's nowhere obvious to put it. Anything built to show you to other people needs fields, categories, a shape it can sort and rank. That's how it matches you to things, and it's why every profile ends up looking like every other profile. Your strangeness is exactly what a schema deletes.
A station has no fields. No categories, no ranking, no template — because Earth Library has none. Whatever shape the thing actually is, that's the shape it keeps. It stays in your own account, on chain, kept because it differs from everything else. That is the entire reason it's kept.
