Chushu, day eight.
Twenty degrees at seven. I went back in for a sleeve.
Grey the rest of the day. It never got round to raining.
New lotus root, sliced thin. Sesame oil, soy, one chili.
Four minutes in the pan. Still loud under the teeth.
Something to bite. That was all it was.
处暑第八天。
早上出门冷了一下。八月底了，头一回。
天阴着，没什么脾气。
冰箱里那截新藕，切片，下锅。
香油、酱油、一只干辣椒。四分钟。
牙齿有事做了。也就这样。
